Kurz vor den Wahlen 2020 in den Vereinigten Staaten strahlte die ARD eine Doku über die Ungleichheit in New York im Zuge der Covid-19-Pandemie aus. Das Studio Fritz Gnad hat die Grafiken, Datenvisualisierungen und 3D-Kartenanimationen für diesen Film von Stefanie Dodt und Christiane Meier umgesetzt.
Im Frühjahr 2020 wurde New York von der Pandemie schwer getroffen, im April dieses Jahres starben täglich fast 800 Menschen an Covid-19. Die Stadt kam von da an nicht mehr zur Ruhe: Drei Monate lang gab es einen Shutdown, Proteste für "Black Lives Matter" und die Präsidentschaftswahlen, wobei die wirtschaftlichen Folgen der Pandemie die Bevölkerung am meisten beunruhigen, ebenso wie die Ungleichheit, die jeden Tag wächst. In dieser Stadt leben die sehr Reichen neben den sehr Armen, so dass sich in New York die Probleme ganz Lateinamerikas wiederspiegeln.

Just before the 2020 elections in the United States, the ARD broadcasted a documentary about the inequality in New York in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic. With great enthusiasm our Studio Fritz Gnad has created the graphics, data visualizations and 3D map animations for this film by Stefanie Dodt and Christiane Meier.
During the spring of 2020 New York was hit hard by the pandemic, by April of that year almost 800 people were dying every day from Covid-19. The city could not rest from that moment on: there were three months of shutdown, protests for "Black Lives Matter" and the Presidential elections, being the economic consequences of the pandemic what worries the population the most, as well as the inequality that grows every day. In this city the very rich live next to the very poor, so in New York we see through a glass what is affecting all of Latin America.

Justo antes de las elecciones del 2020 en los Estados Unidos, la ARD ha emitido un documental sobre la desigualdad en Nueva York a raíz de la pandemia producida por el Covid-19. Con gran entusiasmo el Studio Fritz Gnad ha realizado los gráficos, las visualizaciones de datos y las animaciones de mapas 3D para este documental de Stefanie Dodt y Christiane Meier.
Durante la primavera del 2020 Nueva York se vio muy afectada por la pandemia, para abril de ese año casi 800 personas morían cada día por el Covid-19. La ciudad desde ese momento no pudo descansar: hubo tres meses de cierre, protestas por “Black Lives Matter” y la elecciones Presidenciales, siendo las consecuencias económicas de la pandemia lo que más preocupa a la población, así como la desigualdad que crece cada día. En esta ciudad los muy ricos viven cerca de los muy pobres, por lo que en Nueva York vemos como a través de un cristal lo que está afectando a toda América Latina.
