"Der Trauerschwindler" ist eine Truecrime-Serie von Nicole Rosenbach über die Geschichte von Frauen, die sich alle in den gleichen Bestatter verlieben und dadurch in schwierige finanzielle Lagen geraten. Die Protagonistin lernt den Bestatter kennen, als sie für immer Abschied von ihrem Kind nehmen muss und findet in ihm Trost und Halt. Als er sie um einen größeren Geldbetrag bittet, zögert sie nicht, ihm zu helfen. Doch als sie auf einen Artikel mit Betrugsvorwürfen gegen den Bestatter stößt, beginnt sie, ihre Beziehung zu hinterfragen und entdeckt weitere Frauen, die sich in ihn verliebt und ihm Geld gegeben haben. "The Funeral Scammer" is a film by Nicole Rosenbach. It tells the true story of women who fall in love with the same funeral director and, as a result, sometimes end up in financial hardship. A young mother meets the funeral director when she has to say goodbye to her child forever. She finds comfort with him, becomes friends with him, and believes in a genuine relationship.
After a few months, when he asks her for a larger sum of money, she doesn't hesitate to help him. However, the relationship begins to show cracks when he doesn't repay the money as planned. When the woman comes across a newspaper article accusing the funeral director of fraud, she starts to investigate.
She finds other women who have fallen in love with him and given him money. She meets former employees who feel used. There are dozens of people who say, "We fell for him!" Can they stop the funeral director?
For this true crime series for the ARD Mediathek, Studio Fritz Gnad contributed a variety of graphics, animations, and the entire title design.

Se encuentra con las mujeres en su hora más difícil. Las consuela, es encantador y atractivo. Quien se enamora de él, no solo pierde su corazón, sino a veces también mucho dinero. Su trabajo: el administrador de funerarias.
"El estafador del duelo" cuenta la historia real de mujeres que se enamoran todas del mismo administrador de funerarias y, como resultado, se ven involucradas en problemas económicos graves. Una madre joven conoce al administrador de funerarias cuando tiene que despedirse para siempre de su hijo. Encuentra apoyo en él, se hace amigo de él y cree en una verdadera relación.
Sin embargo, cuando él le pide una cantidad mayor de dinero después de algunos meses, ella comienza a tener dudas. La relación comienza a tener grietas cuando él no devuelve el dinero como se había planeado. Cuando la mujer encuentra un artículo en el periódico con acusaciones de fraude contra el administrador de funerarias, decide investigar más a fondo.
A través de su investigación, encuentra a otras mujeres que también se han enamorado de él y le han dado dinero. Conoce a empleadas antiguas que se sienten utilizadas por él. Son docenas de personas que dicen: ¡Nosotros también caímos en su trampa! ¿Pueden detener al administrador de funerarias y poner fin a su engaño?
