Die Suisse Secrets führen zu geheimen Konten von Kriminellen, umstrittenen Politikerinnen und korrupten Unternehmern. Und sie führen zu einer neuen Spur in einem der größten Krimis der deutschen Wirtschaftsgeschichte. Ein Whistleblower hat die Daten geschickt, mit der Nachricht: „Ich glaube, dass das Schweizer Bankgeheimnis unmoralisch ist“. Der Film zeigt eindrücklich, wie die Schweizer Bank offenbar über Jahre dazu beigetragen hat, dass Entwicklungsländer geplündert werden – auch durch korrupte Geschäfte und Geldwäsche. Die Daten wurden an die Süddeutsche Zeitung übermittelt, die sie unter anderem mit dem NDR und WDR teilte. Die Credit Suisse streitet ab, illegale Aktivitäten zu unterstützen.

The Suisse Secrets lead to secret accounts of criminals, controversial politicians and corrupt entrepreneurs. This investigation lead to new clues in one of the biggest crime stories in German economic history. A whistleblower sent the data, with the message: "I believe that Swiss banking secrecy is immoral". The film vividly shows how the Swiss bank Credit Suisse apparently helped plunder developing countries for years - including through corrupt deals and money laundering. The data was provided to Süddeutsche Zeitung, which shared it with NDR and WDR, among others. Credit Suisse denies supporting illegal activities.

En el reporatje de Suisse Secrets, o Secretos Suizos, se cuestionan cuentas secretas de delincuentes, personas políticas controvertidas y empresarios corruptos. Y conducen a nuevas pistas en una de las mayores historias criminales de la historia económica alemana. Un denunciante envió los datos con el mensaje: "Creo que el secreto bancario suizo es inmoral". La película muestra de forma impresionante cómo el banco suizo Credit Suisse ha contribuido aparentemente a saquear a los países en desarrollo durante años, también mediante tratos corruptos y blanqueo de dinero. Los datos fueron enviados al Süddeutsche Zeitung, que los compartió con NDR y WDR, entre otros. Credit Suisse niega haber apoyado actividades ilegales.
